During the period of 2 years from January, 1980 to December, 1981, authors measured birth weights of newborns and analyzed them with gestational age, maternal body weight, parity and degree of complication with pregnancy.
The results were briefly summarized as follows
1. The greater the gestational age, the maternal body weight or the degree of complication with pregnancy was, the more the birth weight increased.
2. The parity except multipara over 6th born was not influenced on birth weight of newborn at all.
